One month-iversary

So we've officially been married for one month. It's been the hardest month of our relationship (and maybe my life?) but little by little, things are falling into place. I was talking to my mom on the phone yesterday, and she was remembering how difficult it was for her and my dad when they first moved to Boston. She said most people don't realize how normal it is for this situation to be stressful and difficult. She definitely hit the nail on the head. People keep asking me how married life is, and honestly, it's a weird question. I love being married, but my *life* these past few weeks has been anything but smooth sailing. We shall see how the next few weeks and months go.

One month-iversary flowers from my hubby:

The perfect little thing to come home to after a crazystressful day at work. It looks like I might be switching to a new position, but we just don't know yet. A lot of things are up in the air, which is frustrating, but I should have some answers by the end of the week.

Speaking of work, I broke in my new kitchen shoes:

They came from Amazon last night and I couldn't wait to try them. Yes, they're hideous. But they're SO comfy, and made being on my feet all day much more tolerable.

In other news, some apartment progress was made last night. Before:

After:

Hubby makes soup and dressers.

My next task: sorting through clothes mountain and putting everything away.

See ya tomorrow for my first WIAW post!
